About the initiatives
- Joint e-inauguration of the new Magistrates’ Court Building in Seychelles: The new Magistrates’ Court Building will be built in the capital city Victoria.
- It is India’s first major civil infrastructure project in Seychelles built with the grant assistance.
- The Magistrates’ Court is state of the art building built in seychelles.
- Fast Patrol Vessel to Seychelles Coast Guard: It is a 50-m Fast Patrol Vessel.
- It is a modern and fully equipped naval ship which has been made in India by M/s GRSE, Kolkata.
- It is gifted to Seychelles under Indian grant assistance for strengthening its maritime surveillance capabilities.
- 1 MW Solar Power Plant: It’s a ground-mounted Solar power plant at the Romainville Island of Seychelles.
- It has been completed as part of the ‘Solar PV Democratization Project’.
- 10 High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDPs): It is being implemented by the High Commission of India with the help of local bodies, educational and vocational institutions.

Security and Growth for All in the Region (SAGAR)
- It is an India’s policy of maritime cooperation in the Indian Ocean region.
- It was conceptualized in 2015.
- As part of SAGAR the Indian Navy assists countries in the Indian Ocean region with exclusive economic zone surveillance, search and rescue.
