 IBPS clerk is one of the most important Exams conducted by IBPS. Many Aspirants are working hard to clear the Exam. Over the period of time there are several changes in the pattern of exam pattern as well as level of the question (Initially it is conducted in only one phase but later IBPS introduced Prelims and Mains Examination). And moreover, the type of question was not the same in each slot. The competition was very tough. So it becomes very important for the students to get aware of the type of question being asked in the examination.

  The pattern of the test was as follows:

The overall exam was of moderate level.

Lets see the analysis of the Quantitative Aptitude Section

In this section, questions were asked from various topics like:

 

  • Data Interpretation (Tabular, Pie Chart, Line Graph, Bar Graph) In each slot there are at least 5-10 question are asked. So it becomes important for students to have a sound knowledge of Speed maths.
  • Simplifications From this topic 5-10 question are asked.
  • .Quadratic Equation
  • Arithmetic (Percentage, Profit loss, SI-CI, Time &Work, Time & Distance etc
  • Number Series (Missing Number, Wrong Number) From this topic 5-6 question is asked.

Our aim is to score maximum marks in this section and if you relate that with the table above you can clearly frame a strategy to score those marks.

1. Your strategy will be to first solve the question of simplification/Approximation, then select the questions of DI and quadratic equation.

2. From the remaining questions first, solve the question of number series, then go to the arithmetic question

3.  If we go with a clear strategy in the examination so we can easily score the highest from it.

4.  Attempt the topic tests on our platform and see where you stand in your preparation level. 

5. Try to gauge the difficulty level of a section and plan your attempts accordingly. It doesn't make sense to attempt more when the difficulty level is high, because of negative marking. This will come by experience.
