The Exam analysis for RBI Grade-B Shift-2 2019 is given below. The overall difficulty level was Moderate, with the most Difficult section being Reasoning. The breakup is given below.

Numerical Ability

Overall difficulty level – Easy-Moderate

  • Missing Number Series – 5
  • Approximation – 4 
  • DI (Caselet + TABLE) – 11 
  • Data Sufficiency-3
  • Arithmetic word Problems – 7( questions on TSD, Boats, Pipes and Cisterns, Ages)

The questions on Arithmetic should be attempted First in order to gain maximum from this section. The Table Graph set should definitely attempt.

Reasoning ability

Overall difficulty level –Moderate-Difficult

  • Puzzles and Sitting Arrangement( 6---mainly on scheduling, floor, double row seating, miscellaneous arrangement, linear arrangement) – 32
  • Critical Reasoning-9
  • Miscellaneous – 2 
  • Direction-4
  • Data Sufficiency-3
  • Syllogism(All.At least....5 statement-2 conclusion type)-4
  • Input-Output-4
  • Alphanumeric series –2

Only 3 out of 6 Puzzles should be attempted, the rest of the attempts should be staggered so as to score maximum in this section. 

English Language

Overall Difficulty – Easy-Moderate

  • Fillers-– 5 
  • Reading Comprehension – 12
  • Match the Column – 3
  • Word Arrangement-5
  • Para jumble-5

Only 1 RC should be attempted, the other attempts should be staggered between Fillers, Match the Column and Word Arrangement.

General Awareness--Moderate to Difficult

General Awareness had 80 questions for 80 marks.  Most of the questions(around 60) were asked from Current Affairs and Developments from the last 3 months.  Around 10-12 questions were from static and banking awareness, of which various Schemes had 5-6 questions. Compared to the 1st shift, the difficulty level was high in this shift.
