MPPSC exam is conducted in three stages i.e. Pre, Mains & Interview. Pre is only qualifying in nature. Its marks are not added to Mains exam marks to determine rank.
MPPSC Preliminary Examination:
Preliminary exam consists of two Papers which are:
(a) General Studies (b) General Aptitude Test
The nature of the examination will Objective type (Multiple choice questions) with 100 questions in each paper. The total marks are 200 for each paper. There is no negative marking. The duration of each paper is 2 hours. The question papers are available in both English & Hindi.

MPPSC Main Examination is a conventional essay type written examination consisting of seven papers of three hours duration each. Question papers other than language papers will be both in Hindi and English.
